George has been at graze for over 6 years and is responsible for looking after the end to end supply chain of all products produced from their main factory and bakery facilities. This includes demand planning, supply planning, procurement and SC project management.
graze started up over 10 years ago as DTC only but after building up to being the number 1 healthy UK snack brand, they ventured into retail in 2015. Since then the business has experienced very strong growth, undergone several brand redesigns and after being acquired by Unilever in 2019 has been expanding rapidly into Europe.
Despite this growth, graze's culture has stayed entrepreneurial and with that brings great opportunities and so requires a very agile supply chain. It's this ability to act so fast to respond to customer and consumer demands that won the graze Supply Chain Team an award in 2019 for Demand Planning & Forecasting at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
George's background before graze was mainly at Compass Group where he worked in Retail Buying, Category Management and Sourcing.
