Your Host for the Evening
This year we are excited to announce Lucy Porter as the host for the Supply Chain Excellence awards 2016.
Described as ‘charmingly effervescent’, Lucy Porter is a comedian whose bright and friendly persona can win over any audience. With a disarmingly warm and chatty style Lucy delivers her thoughts and observations on life, love and how odd the world can be like a long-standing and sometimes indiscreet friend.
Lucy has gathered a strong following and excellent reputation on the live circuit, and her annual Edinburgh shows are invariably a sell-out. Also at Edinburgh and away from comedy, Lucy starred alongside Christian Slater in the stage version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. A finalist on Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny?, Lucy is a regular on Radio 4 panel and comedy shows, and has also appeared a number of times on Have I Got News For You and Mock the Week.
She has also appeared on Newnight and The Culture Show, Celebrity editions of Pointless and Mastermind, and has written for Johnny Vaughan, Adam and Joe, and Jimmy Tarbuck.
Entertainment includes a casino with tables such as blackjack and roulette – all just for fun, of course – and always provides a fantastic networking opportunity, so whether you win or not, you’ll come away with invaluable contacts.
A dance floor also opens up after the Awards ceremony for guests to let their hair down and enjoy the rest of the evening with their peers.
Always a must-attend fixture in the diaries of the world’s leading figures in supply chain, we strongly advise all interested parties to book your tables well in advance.
Please note: we do not include drinks in the table prices, as the majority of our audience prefer to order drinks to suit their guests. Drinks menus and order forms will be provided in advance to all table bookers.
Make a difference
Our Charitable Partner for this year will be confirmed shortly, but for now you can still donate to the 2015 Charitable Partner, Teenage Cancer Trust.
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer aged between 13 and 24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.
We also educate young people in schools about cancer to help improve the speed and quality of diagnosis.
We rely on donations to fund our vital work. For every young person that we help, there is another in vital need of our support. You can help us to transform the lives of young people with cancer.
